Welcome to Deb Plestid’s Quilt Art and Design. Here you will find an intriguing array of fibre art in the form of quilted wall tapestries as well as hand and machine-made bed quilts.
Her quilts are in collections in Canada, Europe and the Middle East. Her work has been shown in Canada and internationally in juried shows. She is almost always busy creating and will be happy to consider taking on commissioned quilts, inspired as always by the infinite possibilities of nature’s designs and human imprints.Deb and her work have been profiled in the media in eastern Canada, her work and writing has appeared in The Canadian Quilter. She teaches and has given workshops in Nova Scotia, focussing on hand- painting and hand-dyeing fabric, landscape quilting and developing individual expression through quilting. |
